This is very delicious as well as the famous Thai foods in the world. This food is kind of standard menu in Thai Restaurant all over the globe. I like this very much although I am not very good in cooking. You must try and enjoy this meal.
@ Ingredients
6 prawns (shrimp) shelled and deveined
3 cups chicken stock
200 grams mushrooms, halved or whole
1 lemongrass stem cut into short lengths
3 table spoon fish sauce
5 slices fresh or dried galanga
4 tablespoon lime juice
2-3 kaffir lime leaves, torn into pieces
5-6 hot chillies, slightly broken with pestle
2 coriander plants, chopped coarsely
@ How to make
1,Heat the stock to boiling. Add the lemongrass, galanga, prawns and mushrooms and cook until prawns turn pink. Tom Yam Kung
2,Season to taste with lime juice, fish sause and chillies. Add kaffir lime leaves and chopped coriander. Remove from heat and serve hot.
*Instead of chillies, 1tablespoon ground pepper may be mixed with the stock.
