| 1, | Put water, chicken legs (with skin and bones), and clove of garlic in a pot. Place over flame and cook until chicken is done, while skimming off scum (approximately 20 minutes). |

| 2, | Remove chicken. Add sliced vegetables and stew. |
| 3, | Remove chicken skin and bones and cut the meat into pieces. |
| 4, | When vegetables are done, season with salt. Transfer chicken meat to pot. |
| 5, | Serve accompanied with chopped cilantro, chili and onion, as well as lemon slices. (Add whichever you like to taste, immediately before eating.) |
