Beef stew and Ugali

@ Ingredients(for 3 people)
500 grams of beef which has been cut into small pieces
1 red onion
3 medium sized tomatoes
20 leaves of kale vegetables
corn oil
750 grams pepper spice of white maize flour
Preparation
* Cut the vegetables into small slices using a sharp knife and a hardboard and rinse them in clean water.
* Cut the onion into thin slices.
* Cut the tomatoes into eight to ten pieces each.

How to make beef stew
1,Fry the onion using about two ordinary spoonfuls of corn oil until it turns partly brown. Beef stew and Ugali
2,Add the pieces of meat and the tomatoes, stir and cover the cooking vessel with its lid to allow the food to cook.
3,When the meat is almost cooked add salt and pepper, then put the kale vegetables and replace lid to allow cooking to take place slowly.
4,When the vegetable is partially cooked, remove the food from the fire, stir to mix uniformly ensure the taste is delicious before preparing the Ugali with which to eat the stew.
How to make Ugali
1,Boil about one liter of water and scoop about one quarter of it before adding white maize flour to the water left in the cooking pot. Make sure you have a wooden bat stirrer about 8cm in diameter.
2,Stir until the flour paste becomes as hard as a potato and it starts steaming from the sides the hot water you had scooped.
3,Keep stirring until the ugali starts steaming from sides of the vessel. In case you put too much flour and the it does not mix well add some of the hot water you had scooped.
4,When ready mold the ugali to form the shape of a mountain with a peak, pour it onto a tray, cut it into small pieces which can be eaten with the beef stew.

*How to serve
Serve the stew in bowls and eat it with the ugali taking one piece at a time.
